Due to extensive cut backs in quota for orange roughy by the government, this boat was sold to Tas Blue Fin in Mooloolaba. It now operates in the east Australian tuna fishery.
 

Kaybecana

The 23 metre Kaybecana was constructed in 2000 for use within our own company as a deep-water board trawler, targeting orange roughy. The boat's hull was constructed of steel with an aluminium superstructure and was powered by a V12 caterpillar motor. This boat was operated by the company in the southeast trawl fishery for one year.
